ABOUT

I have been obsessed with design since I was a very little girl. I come from a family of entrepreneurs and very creative people. My great grandfather was an architect. He developed and built safety tunnels in the mine fields of Chile and he also helped to design & build The Empire State Building.
I guess you can say that design is just in my blood!

I studied journalism in college because I found it was a great creative outlet for me but my heart just wasn't being fulfilled. I decided to go back to school for interior design and it was the best decision I ever made. Now I get to use both of my skills combined into one, writing about design!

In November of this year I married the love of my life Derek. My husband and I live just outside Boston, MA. and share the home with our dogs, Bodi (a chocolate lab) & George our French Bulldog & newest addition.

With my guidance (and Derek's patience) room by room, we transformed the house over the last 2 years. Although I drive my husband nuts with all my neurotic redesign projects in our home, he just  grins and smiles. He never knows what new project he will come home to.  We love the home we created together and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

Summertime is our favorite time in New England. When we aren't working we enjoy spending our days on our boat in the ocean. Derek fishes & I read (and tan).. Life is Perfect :)
